Woman, daughter found hanging in Naogaon
Police recovered the hanging bodies of a woman and her daughter from their house in Atrai upazila of Naogaon on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Sabina, 28, wife of Ariful Islam, a resident of Jamgram village in the upazila and their daughter Afroza Akter, 10.
Police and locals said Ariful found his wife and daughter hanging in their house around 8:30 am and informed police.
Later, police went to the spot and recovered the bodies.
Atrai Police Station officer in-charge Tarequr Rahman Sarker said the bodies were sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue and details can be said after getting the autopsy report.
