Kabirul Ezdani Khan to become Executive Chairman of National Pension Authority

 
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has approved a summary regarding the appointment of Kabirul Ezdani Khan in the post of Executive Chairman of National Pension Authority. A letter to this end has been sent to the Ministry of Public Administration for further formalities. Kabirul Ezdani Khan is currently Additional Secretary to the Finance Division.

A pension operation council will be formed led by the Finance Minister which consists of 16 members. Bangladesh Bank Governor, Finance Secretary, Secretary to Financial Institutions Division, Chairman of National Board of Revenue (NBR), Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office, FBCCI President, President of Bangladesh Employers Federation, President of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry and some other dignitaries will be in the pension operation council, according to relevant sources.
