European stock markets fell at the start of trading on Tuesday, as oil prices climbed above $95 per barrel.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dipped 0.1 percent to 7,648.24 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX index lost 0.4 percent to 15,665.74 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed 0.4 percent to 7,250.44.
