Shoeb Chowdhury calls on Zahid Ahsan Russell

 
Chairman of the Editorial Board of English daily newspaper The Asian Age Shoeb Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell at his Secretariat office yesterday.

Shoeb Chowdhury and Zahid Ahsan Russell exchanged views about the sports arena of Bangladesh. Shoeb Chowdhury congratulated Zahid Ahsan Russell on the progress Bangladesh has made in sports as well as in socio-economic perspectives.

Shoeb Chowdhury sought cooperation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports for further betterment of indoor games. Zahid Ahsan Russell assured that his ministry would be always making the best of its efforts for the advancement of sports across Bangladesh including indoor games like karate, taekwondo, Judo etcetera.

Shoeb Chowdhury presented a copy of the special edition of The Asian Age to Zahid Ahsan Russell which was published on 7 September 2023 on account of 10th anniversary of the newspaper.
