8 members of per-time job fraud ring arrested

Cyber ​​and Special Crime(South) Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) arrested 8 members of a gangengaged in cheating to get a trap with tempting advertisements like ‘pertime-job, online Jobs, salary ranges from Tk. 5,000 to 10,000 per day byworking for a few hours only’. DP Police have been arrested the criminal fromdifferent places of the country, including Azampur(Dhaka),Savar, Jamalpur, inthe wake of the investigation following the complaint of the victim who wascheated for a long time by offering a lucrative job and money investment in afew hours. 

 Bangladeshi agent of the gang,Imadul Islam (21), Md. Abu Bakr Siddiqui Shanto (21), Md. Jaber Ahmed(31), Md. Rakib Molla (19), Mohammad Ali (19), Md. Sulaiman (19), AbuSaeed Sumon (33) and Hosnahar Akhter Hema (23) have been arrested.

According to police sources,the arrested persons are educated and all skilled in informationtechnology. They got involved in this fraud with the hope of earning morein a short period of time. And after the introduction of the Chinesenationals, with their persuasion and the help of CS CamScanner, they joined thework.

The Arrestoperation has been completed under the overall direction  of DC-DB-Cyber and Special Crime (South)Division, Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam PPM-Bar,  and  under the supervision of Mr. Nishat RahmanMithun (Admin), ADC. This campaign has conducted under the leadership of  Mr. Md. Saifur Rahman Azad, PPM, ADC and in-chargeof Organized and Web Based Crime Investigation Team ADC.
