PM Dahal-Oli-Nepal Meeting: Unified Socialist to Back Janamat Party in Madhes
In a strategic move aimed at strengthening their foothold in the crucial Madhes region, the top leaders of Nepal’s ruling coalition, including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, and CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Nepal, convened at Singh Durbar on Monday.

Following intense deliberations on contemporary political affairs, the trio of leaders reached a unanimous decision to endorse the Janamat Party candidate as the coalition’s nominee for the Chief Minister position in Madhes.

In an official statement released by Prime Minister Dahal’s Secretariat, it was revealed that this consensus underscores the coalition’s commitment to consolidating its influence in Madhes, a region of significant political and socio-economic importance.

Moreover, the coalition leaders have pledged their support to the Janamat Party in Madhes, signaling a unified front aimed at bolstering the party’s prospects in the region.

In a notable development, the coalition has extended an invitation to Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhary, Chairperson of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, to join the federal cabinet, reflecting the coalition’s inclusive approach towards governance and representation.

This strategic maneuver follows a pivotal meeting earlier in the day between Prime Minister Dahal, UML Chairman Oli, and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at Baluwatar, underscoring the coalition’s concerted efforts to navigate Nepal’s complex political landscape.
