Cumilla police exchange views with cattle market leaseholders

Cumilla police exchange views with the leaseholders of cattle market at the office of Superintendent of Police (SP) in the district on Monday.
Cumilla Superintendent of Police (SP) Abdul Mannan addressed the meeting as the chief guest.

Leaseholders from 18 police stations in the district attended the meeting.  To mention, a total of 409 cattle markets in 18 police stations across the district will be opened ahead of Eid-ul-Adha. Speaking at the meeting, SP Abdul Mannan said, "Police will provide assistance in identifying counterfeit notes, preventing extortion and maintaining traffic rules."

"Police will patrol round the clock to ensure the maximum security for customer and cattle trader", he said.  "We also introduced a special traffic management system to ease traffic congestion in and around the markets in the city", the SP added.

Additional Superitndent of Police (Crime and Ops) Khandaker Ashfaquzzaman, ASP (Traffic) Md Nazmul Hasan, ASP (DSB) Kazi Md Motiul Islam, ASP (Sadar circle) Md Kamran Hossain, ASP (Muradnagar circle) Md Robiul Islam along with other high police officials were present at the meeting.
