Viral young man with Tk 15 lakh goat, not my son: NBR official
A young man named Ifat went viral on the social media after buying a goat for Taka 15 lakh from ‘Sadeeq Agro’ in the capital’s Mohammadpur to sacrifice it on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The eye-pooping price of the goat stoked clamors as there was humming that Ifat is the son of Motiur Rahman, a high official of the National Board of Revenue.

Questions have arisen as to how a revenue officer's son could buy a goat at such a high price.

But Motiur Rahman came up with clarifications recently that the viral young man Ifat is indeed neither his son nor his relative.
Talking to different media outlets, he said, ‘‘I don't know that boy who went viral with the expensive goat. It is very embarrassing for me to involve my name.’’

‘‘I will formally voice against this propaganda. I have a son and his name is Tawfiqur Rahman. Ifat is none to me,’’ he added.
Mohammad Imran Hossain, the owner of the 'Sadeeq Agro' farm said that the young man booked the goat giving Taka one lakh prior to Eid-ul-Azha. But he is yet to take the goat home by paying the rest of the amount.
