“Martyr's March” held at BAU

Rayhan Abid, BAUCorrespondent: In memory of martyrs in the anti-discriminationstudent movement, a "Martyr's March" was observed by teachers andstudents of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) on Thursday (5 September).

Teachers and students from various facultiesmarched from the Shaheed Minar of the university to the central library at 3pm.

During the proceeding, the student and teacherchanted, "I want justice, I want justice, I want justice for the murdererHasina, I want justice for the murderer Hasina."

Later, Prayers were organized in memory of themartyrs. Convener of the Provost Council of BAU, Professor Dr. Md. Ruhul Aminled the prayer.

At this time, Students' Affairs AdvisorProfessor Dr. Md. Shahidul Haque, Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Alim, thepresident of the teacher's association, Professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sarder,Director of Bangladesh Agricultural University Research System (BAURES)Professor Dr. Mohammad Hammadur Rahman, Professor of Animal Breeding andVeterinary Science Department. A. K. Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan, Professor ofMicrobiology and Hygiene Department, Professor Dr. Md. Bahanur Rahman,Professor of Agricultural Economics Department. M. Harun-Ar Rashid, provost ofvarious residential halls of BAU, and teachers and students of variousfaculties were present.
