The Executive Director (ED) of Thengamara Mohila Shabuj Shangha (TMSS) Prof Dr Hosne Ara Begum called on the chief adviser of the interim government of Bangladesh Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus at his government residence Jamuna in the capital on Tuesday evening.
TMSS ED Dr Hosne Ara Begum said that one of the leading NGOs of Bangladesh, TMSS, has been rendering its services with the unused resources by employing the unemployed youths so that they can contribute a lot to change socio-economic condition and to improve the status of women and children, to empower the women-folk in Bogura area of the country.
The founder of PKSF, only Noble Laurate of Bangladesh and presently Chief Adviser of the interim government of Bangladesh Porf Dr Muhammad Yunus has contributed a lot to accelerate the loan activities of TMSS by deputing two loan activity experts and provided multiple patrons in the same arena, added the ED.
She further added that the chief adviser wanted to know about the present activities of TMSS and also wanted to know about the present state of Bangladesh too and to know about his role to be played.
In reply of the questions, ED of TMSS said that the major portion root-level people cannot enjoy the profit under same VAT and TAX formula and some other profound restrictions as they are considered with the parallel to the socio-commercial partners.
Chief Adviser Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus listened the TMSS ED with huge attention and promised to pay deep attention in those regards for developing the micro-credit economy in Bangladesh.
