The Islamic University (IU) unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir inaugurated its publication exhibition today at the 'Bottola' area of the campus. The exhibition will continue for the next five days.
The event showcases a total of 200 publications, including calendars, diaries, stickers, Islamic books, and other materials.
Six separate galleries have been set up to allow students to explore and learn about Shibir.
IU Shibir President Mahmudul Hasan stated, 'We were previously labeled as terrorists. To address this misconception, we organized this exhibition to provide students with the opportunity to learn about us. Reading our books, students would be able to decide whether we promote terrorism or focus on creating skilled, patriotic citizens.'
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah visited the exhibition and commended the organizers for their efforts in arranging such a meaningful event.
