Dhaka WASA corporate office located in the capital's Karwan Bazar area organized a special event on Tuesday (5 February 2025) in which honorific mementos were awarded to ideal clients. Dhaka WASA, Dustha Shasthyo Kendra (DSK) and Water Aid Bangladesh jointly hosted the program, according to a press release issued to The Asian Age yesterday.
Dhaka WASA Managing Director and Additional Secretary Md. Fazlur Rahman joined the program as the chief guest. Md. Abdus Sobhan, Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka WASA (Human Resources Department and Administration), Dhaka WASA Secretary Mashiur Rahman Khan, Partho Hefaz Sheikh, Director-Program and Policy Advocacy in Water Aid Bangladesh and DSK Director MA Hakim were present at the event as special guests.
It may be added that Dhaka WASA, DSK and Water Aid Bangladesh have been making the best of their efforts to facilitate safe water supply to the slum dwellers in Dhaka city as part of Bangladesh's objective to attain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, the press release concludes.
