3rd meeting of PPP Authority held

The 3rd meeting of the Board of Governors of Public Private Partnership Authority was held on 13th April 2025, at Chief Adviser's Office. The session focused on evaluating challenges and formulating actionable solutions to enhance PPP projects execution and inter-agency coordination, said a press release.

Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus presided over the meeting. The gathering was further attended by Chief Adviser's Special Envoy Lutfey Siddiqui, Principal Secretary to the Chief Adviser & Chairman of PPP Authority M Siraz Uddin Miah and Chief Executive Officer (Secretary) of PPP Authority Muhammad Rafiqul Islam.

Senior officials from various ministries and departments participated, including Advisers from Ministry of Finance Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Ministry of Planning Mr. Wahiduddin Mahmud, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Road Transport and Bridges and Railways Mr. Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan.

Also in attendance were the Senior Secretaries and Secretaries of the respective ministries and divisions ensuring comprehensive representation.
The session underscored the significance of accelerating PPP projects including Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport operation and maintenance, Kamlapur Multimodal Hub, Bay Terminal and other G2G projects.
