Electrician found dead in Narayanganj

Police recovered the body of an electrician from Mijimiji Kaluhazi road area of Siddhirganj upazila in Naryanganj on Friday.

The deceased, Abdur Rahim, 40, son of late Abdus Salam Talukder, a resident of Abdul Ali Pul area in the upazila, is an electrician.

Confirming the matter, Siddhirganj Police Station officer-in-charge Mohammad Shahinur Alam said that locals spotted the body of Abdur Rahim lying on the land and informed police.

Being informed, a team of police recovered the body and sent it to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination. Police found a fire mark on the leg of Abdur Rahim, the police official said.

The main reason behind the incident could be known after getting the post-mortem report, the OC added.
