Pervez murder: Prime accused held in Gaibandha

Police arrested the prime accused in the killing of Primeasia University student, Zahidul Islam Parvez, from Bhabanipur in Sadar upazila of Gaibandha district on Wednesday. The arrestee was identified as Meheraz Islam, son of Nurul Islam, a resident of Banani area. Tipped off, a team of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) conducted a drive in Gaibandha and arrested Pervez from the house of one of his relatives in the afternoon.
