Boistwami Rock Fest to hold eight concerts

Boistwami Rock Fest is about to start again. This event for rock lovers was launched last year at the initiative of the production company Boistwami. Although the goal was to organize concerts nationwide, the organizers had to stop organizing two concerts due to the political situation in the country. 

The first concert of this year's Rock Fest is going to be held on June 20 at Sundari Cafe and Art Space in Purbachal New Town in the capital. Organisers said that like every time, there will be a combination of new and old generation bands in the concert.

Symphony, a popular band of the nineties, and Mechanics, a popular heavy metal band of the time, will perform at the concert. There will also be Bangladesh's first indigenous women's band, F Minor. Rock and thrash metal singer KHN will also perform.

Boistwami CEO Ayesha Erin said, "Last year, we had a dream of organizing concerts in eight divisions, including the capital. After organizing two concerts in two consecutive months, the political landscape of the country changed. We believe that music also has the power to fight against evil forces. Hopefully, the shortcomings of last year will not remain this time. Along with contemporary bands, we want to give a chance to our past popular bands who are still performing on our stage with due respect."

Boistwami said that the next concert will be held on July 12. Vikings, Artcell and another band of the young generation are scheduled to perform on this day. Boistwami is planning to organize a mega concert on July 26. However, they want to keep it as a surprise.

Previously, MNM, Ark, Bangla Five, Highway, the new band of former Warphase vocalist Mizan, performed at this event. Hard rock singer KHN is performing at each of Boistwami's concerts. It is known that they are contracted with the company for a total of 8 concerts.

The event partner of this concert is Station Communications. The company's CEO Rudra Haque said that all the arrangements have already been completed. The concert will start at 10 pm and will continue until 10 pm. Tickets are available on the Gatesetter Rock website. Moreover, visitors can collect tickets at the venue.

Ticket price: 500 taka (200 people), 700 taka (100 people with juice), 1250 taka (50 seats and dinner), 2500 taka (50 seats and mini buffet dinner).
