Dinajpur DC hands over 350 Sonalika tractors

 
ACI Motors Limited, one of the pioneers in agricultural mechanization, handed over 350 units of Sonalika tractors to farmers on Monday at the Trade Fair Ground adjacent to the Gor-e-Shaheed Central Eidgah Maidan in Dinajpur, under the theme "Sonalikar Bisshojoy."

The key objective of the event was to secure Bangladesh's place in the Guinness World Records by achieving the highest number of tractor handovers in a single event. Mr. Subrata Ranjan Das, Deputy Managing Director of ACI Motors Limited has presided over the inaugural ceremony where Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Rafiqul Islam, Mr. Gaurav Saxena, Director and Chief Executive Officer of International Tractors Limited, Md. Asif Uddin, Chief Business Officer of ACI Motors; Md. Rafiqul Islam, and other higher officials, Sonalika Tractor customers, drivers, and well-wishers also were present in the program.

Over the past 18 years of partnership with Sonalika, ACI Motors Limited has played a significant role in advancing agricultural mechanization in Bangladesh. The company currently holds more than 50% market share in the country's tractor segment, maintaining its leadership position with pride. One of the main objectives of today's grand event is to celebrate this success and to inspire new enthusiasm in the nation's agricultural sector. Although agriculture is often called the backbone of Bangladesh's economy, a noticeable lack of motivation and encouragement among farmers remains. Recognizing this, ACI Motors Limited considers it its responsibility to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and to inspire farmers across the country. In continuation of this commitment, this initiative aims to highlight Bangladesh's progress in agricultural mechanization on the international stage - showcasing that Bangladesh's agriculture and its farmers are truly of world-class standard and deserving of global recognition.
