Bangladesh Infantry Regiment's 20th Annual Commanders' Confce held

The 20th Annual Commanders' Conference 2025 of Bangladesh Infantry Regiment was held on Thursday at Shaheed Colonel Nakib Hall of Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Centre (BIRC) in Rajshahi Cantonment. Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman was present as the chief guest at the conference, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release. 

Upon his arrival at BIRC in Rajshahi, the Army Chief was welcomed by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Army Training and Doctrine 

Command (ARTDOC), Commandant of BIRC and GOC of 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Bogura Area, it added.

In his address to all the commanders of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment present at the Annual Commanders' Conference, the Chief of Army Staff mentioned the glorious tradition of the regiment and its contribution to the service of the motherland.

He also called upon all the members of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment to be ready to face the difficult challenges 

of the 21st century by acquiring capabilities through modern and up-to-date training. 

In addition, during the exchange of views with the officers of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment, the Chief of Army Staff discussed various issues, including the technical development, research, professional skill enhancement and future plans of the regiment.

The conference was attended by GOC of ARTDOC, Commandant of BIRC, GOC of 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Bogura Area, senior officers of the Army Headquarters, officers working at the BIRC in Rajshahi Station, commanders of its all units and media personnel.
