BAPEX holds 36th Annual General Meeting

The 36th Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration & Production Company Ltd. (BAPEX) was held on 2 December, 2025 at BAPEX Bhaban, 4 Kawran Bazar, Dhaka.

The Shareholders and the Members of Board of Directors of the company participated in the meeting presided over by Mr. Istiaque Ahmad, Chairman of BAPEX Board and Ex-Secretary, Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The Audit Report and the Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year 2024-2025 of the company was approved by the Shareholders at the meeting. During the financial year the total income and expenditure of the company was Tk. 721.53 crore and Tk. 401.85 crore respectively. Company's profit after tax was Tk. 218.45 crore, said a press release. During the year the company has deposited Tk. 372.04 crore as government revenue to the national treasury. In the meeting the honourable Shareholders and the members of the Board of Directors expressed their satisfaction in the overall activities of the company during the period and provided valuable suggestions and guidance on various issues for the better functioning of the company.
