LPG price increases

Due to upwards the dollar rate at international markets, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of LPG.

BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed declared the new price of LPG through a press briefing at the conference room of his office on Tuesday.

For the month of December, the price of 12kg LPG has been fixed at Tk. 1,253 by increasing Tk. 38.

The new price became effective from 6pm on Tuesday and will remain in effect until further notice, Jalal Ahmed added.

Commission Members Md. Mizanur Rahman, Md. Abdur Razzaque, Syeda Sultana Razia, Brigadier General Shahid Sarowar were present at that time.
