Certificates awarded to Russian language learners at DIU

 
Daffodil International University (DIU) hosted a Certificate Awarding Ceremony on 9 December 2025 for the Short Course on Russian Language, conducted from 6 October to 25 November 2025 by a Professor from St. Petersburg State University. A total of 48 participants successfully completed the program and obtained their certificates, according to a press release received on Wednesday. 

The course was offered by St. Petersburg State University and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, with support from DIU's Office of International Affairs and the Russian House in Dhaka.

Ms. Alexandra Khlevnoy, Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and personally handed over the certificates to the participants. In her remarks, she highlighted upcoming joint cultural and educational activities, opportunities under the Russian Government Scholarship, and future academic pathways for Bangladeshi students in Russia.

Certificates were also awarded to participants of the Volunteer Internship Program - VIP (Season 6). The event concluded with a group photo session, a campus tour and a courtesy meeting with the DIU International Affairs team, the press release concludes.
