Pranay Verma calls on BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma called on Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman at BNP Gulshan Office on Saturday evening (10 January 2026).

A video clip on this meeting between Pranay Verma and Tarique Rahman has been meanwhile posted on BNP's verified Facebook page. They both talked about different bilateral issues between Bangladesh and India. BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan also informed journalists about the 
courtesy call.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed and another few prominent BNP leaders attended the meeting.
