The Bangladesh Olympic football team will take on hosts Maldives in their final group-stage match of the Diamond Jubilee Football Tournament scheduled on Sunday at the National Stadium in Male, Maldives.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 pm Bangladesh time.
Bangladesh currently occupy third place in the standings with two points after drawing both of their previous matches. Pakistan lead the table with four points, while Afghanistan are second with the same number of points.
A victory against Maldives would significantly boost Bangladesh's chances of reaching the final, depending on the overall group standings.
Bangladesh opened the tournament with consecutive goalless draws against Pakistan and Afghanistan. The top two teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the final, which is scheduled to be played on June 10.

With this outcome, Bangladesh secured two points from two matches.
Earlier, Bangladesh played out a goalless draw with Pakistan, while Afghanistan edged past hosts Maldives by a solitary goal in their respective opening matches of the tournament.
