'Concert for Fighters' returns after 11 years
Sanjib Chowdhury's 'Concert or Fighters' has returned. The concert was last held in 2005 at the premises of Raju Memorial Sculpture. Late musician-journalist Sanjib Chowdhury led the concert from the front. That concert has returned after 11 years. Since the last two consecutive months, some universities in the country are holding the concert under the same title. The last and the biggest session will take place today at the same place, TSC Raju Memorial Sculpture yard.

This year's arrangements have been dedicated to that person whose inspiration started this concert, Sanjib Chowdhury.
A group of cultural activist from Dhaka University, Jagannath University and BUET started holding this concert in several universities since last year's November 16. The touring concert has been held including Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Jahangirnagar University, Sylhet and Jagannath University.

This travelling concert mainly begun on November 16, 2016 from TSC and will conclude at the same place. This year the concert has been arranged to stand beside the Gobindaganj Santal Community who were recently attacked and tortured brutally.  The organizers informed that there will be no sponsors for this concert. The money will be collected through selling t-shirts, stickers, posters and performing songs.  Maksud and Dhaka, Obscure, Meghdol, Sahajia, Madol, Shahartali, Samgit, Chitkar and many other musicians and bands will perform in this concert which will be open for all.
