Want to work in character-based scripts: Moushumi

Popular actress Moushumi has become a rare face on TV or silver screen. She is going to get out of her hibernation as she has signed a new film. Filming will go underway on February. Directed by Montajur Rahman Akbor, the film has been titled 'Dulabhai Zindabad'. Besides Mousumi, this upcoming flick will star Dipjol among other actors.

This is also going to be Dipjol's comback film on the silver screen. Notably, this film will be the fourteenth one where Mousumi will act under the direction of Montajur. The actress said, "From where I am at this moment, it is impossible for me to work in just any films. I still get approached for roles where I have to portray young love interest of the protagonist."

"We need scripts and screenplays basing on strong characters. I no longer want to play just the actress in a film, I want to be involved with films that hold on its own. From that point of view, I really liked the script of 'Dulabhai Zindabad'. Adding to that, I completely trust Akbor Bhai's judgement and integrity for this profession." "I want to deliver quality works this year," Mousumi ended on a high note.
