'Taste of Australia' has been launched at the Water Garden Brasserie Restaurant, Radisson Blu Dhaka on March 17. The Australian Executive Chef Jed Archdeacon has planned the event in order to give the guest a completely unique dining experience through "taste sight and smell."
The festival was designed to give guests a true taste of Australian Cuisines and a Sense of Place. The event started by welcoming the chief guest Ms Julia Niblett, Australian High Commi-ssioner and the special guest Mr Satit, General Manager of Thai Airways International. Dr Thomas Prinz, the German Ambassador was also present among other esteemed guests.
Chef Jed then presented the honorable invited guests with a huge Australian Flag Designed Cake.Christoph Voegeli, General Manager of Radisson Blu Water Garden, spoke on the occasion.
For the Australian Food Festival, the airline partner was Thai Airways, the hospitality partners were Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney and Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay View. Supported by Australian High Commission and Austrade, the platinum sponsor was the Pepsi Co, the beverage partner. JB Trading Co was the gold sponsor and Northend Coffee, Expolink Resources Ltd, Noor Trade House, Foodex International and Fair Distribution Ltd were the silver sponsors. Radio Today, Dhaka Tribune and Harriken were the media partners. The food festival will end on March 26.
