Brexit backing students have been criticized for their decision to leave the European Union with some forced to hide their decision.
Pro-Brexit students have been victimized for voting to leave the European Union in the historic referendum in June 2016. Students told BBC's Today program how they have been treated at university since the Brexit vote.
The majority of young voters chose to Remain in the EU referendum, and one Brexiteer student claimed she has to hide her feelings. She said: "All my friends back at school they all voted Remain, and so did a lot of my friends elsewhere who are 18-25 demographic.
"Whenever someone brings up the conversation to me I always try and avoid it because I guess you could call me like a closeted Leaver."
Another student, named Tommy, who studies Biology, claimed the decision to leave the European Union is "laughed at" by people at university. "A lot of people, especially in my sphere of the sciences, are very likely to vote Remain," he said.
