Youth held with 1 lakh yaba pills in Cox's Bazar -The Asian Age

Police in a drive arrested a young man and recovered one lakh Yaba pills from his possession at Dakkhinpara of Saint Martin's Island early Wednesday.

The arrestee was identified as Md Saddam, 30, son of late Md Safi of the same area. Tipped off, a police team from Saint Martin Police Camp conducted a drive at Belal's house around 5.30am and arrested Saddam along with the contraband tablets worth around TK 3 crore,  said Ranjit Kumar Barua, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station. A case was filed under the Narcotics Control Act.
