68th birth anniversary of Ahsanullah celebrated -The Asian Age
The 68th birth anniversary of Jatiya Sramik League President Shaheed Ahsanullah Master of Gazipur was celebrated through discussion meeting and doha mahfil on Thursday. Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Y M Belalur Rahman, Gazipur Press Club president Khairul Islam, ADC (Revenue) Sanjeev Kumar Debnath, ADC (ICT and Education) Abu Naser, District Superintendent of Police Shamsunnahar, Vice President of Metropolitan AL Adv Wazuddin Miah, District Bar PP Advocate Amjad Hossain Babul, former Press Club president Yapaka Enamul Haque, Gazipur Press Club General Secretary Rahim Sarkar, Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League joint secretary Abdul Hadi Shamim were present. Speakers demanded quick implementation of the verdict of those responsible for Ahsanullah's assassination. Ahsanullah Master was shot dead in front of his house and his work place was held on May 7, 2004 at the MA Majid High School ground in Tongi, while speaking at the meeting of Tongi Thana Jubo League.
