PM to visit Japan, KSA -The Asian Age


Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit Japan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on 28 May. She is supposed to first visit Japan and then she is expected to visit Saudi Arabia.

Foreign Ministry has informed that the Prime Minister may visit another third country during the same trip. Prime Minister may come back to Bangladesh after Eid Ul Fitr.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is most likely to leave for Japan on 28 May. She is supposed to have a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on 29 May. A pact on foreign aid of 220 crore dollars for Bangladesh from Japan is likely to be signed between Bangladesh and Japan during this time. 

Sheikh Hasina will also attend the Future of Asia summit in Tokyo on 30 May. She will attend OIC summit in Saudi Arabia on 31 May. Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia during her trip.
