'Messenger of humanity' -The Asian Age

On the way of returning from a scholarship and reception program, Upazila Parishad Chairman Major Mohammad Ali (Retd) suddenly met a physically disabled person Babul and talked with him.

While conversation the best awarded Chairman got to know the suffering of that person. In spite of having no earning member in family it becomes very hard to run the expense of household alone for the wife of that physically challenged person.

Hearing this Chairman Major Mohammad Ali ordered his personal assistant to give tk 10,000 instantly. That time everyone on the spot addressed him as 'Messenger of Humanity'.

Major Mohammad Ali (Retd) told The Asian Age that he stays at Daudkandi whole year leaving his family in Dhaka only to serve the helpless people of the village because he considers the people of Daudkandi as his own family members. He also requests the good earners of Daudkandi upazila to stand beside the helpless to share the happiness of Eid with each others.
