Light to moderate rain likely over country -The Asian Age
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and it may continue, said a Met office press release here today.
Besides, the axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajsthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh, the release said, adding one of its associated trough extends up to North Bay and monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.
The day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Today’s sunset at Dhaka would be at 6.48 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise here at 5.21 am, it said.
