NUS- Alumni's initiative against mosquito menace -The Asian Age

Dengue- an Aedes mosquito borne disease have taken a heavy toll in the lives of people in Dhaka and around. Dhaka City Corporations being unable to cope up with the enormity of the problem sought help from all civil society organizations, NGOs and citizen of Dhaka to help clean the neighborhood and destroy the breeding ground of Mosquitoes.

In response to their call, National University Singapore (NUS), Lee Kwan School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) graduates alumni Bangladesh chapter conducted a drive against breeding grounds of mosquito at Hatirjheel in Dhaka. Equipped with two strong powered fogger Machines and two container of aerosol the drive was initiated by Bangladesh Chapter President Mr. MD. ALAMGIR who is also the Managing Director Hotels Internationals Ltd.

During the drive other graduates and alumni of LKYSPP were also present. The drive started at 6PM and continued till 6.30 PM.During the drive aerosol was sprayed around the bushes and breeding ground alongside the lake.
