Textbooks for 2020 arrive in schools of Bogura -The Asian Age

The new books for upcoming year' 2020 for the students have been arriving in the educational institutions of Sonatola upazila in Bogura before the new-year. Sonatola Education Office sources said that the office has received 1,49,320 sets of new books for 32 schools under the upazila and for 4,750 students of class six, 23,750 sets books of five subjects were arrived.

For 4,550 students of class seven, 31,850 sets books of seven subjects were also arrived in the schools. For 4,200 students of class eight, 25,900 sets books of six subjects were also arrived in the schools.

For 4,200 students of class seven, 7,820 sets books of all subjects were also arrived in the schools too, added the sources. Nazni Akhtar, Suraiya Akhter of class ten of United School and College, Shakhahati under Sonatola upazila said that they are very happy to see the arrival of the new books in the school.

Contacted, Md. Bodeud-zaman Assistant Headmaster of United School and College, Shakhahati under Sonatola upazila said that they have got around 75% percent of books of 875 students under the school and the students, teachers; guardians have been excited at the early arrival of the new books before the New Year of 2020.

Contacted, Md. Azizar Rahman, Upazila Education Officer of Sonatola upazila said that they are hopeful and confident to hand over the new books among the students in the very first day of 2020. They have been sending the rest of the new books to the educational institutions soon, added the education officer.
