Chhatra League acting president Al Nahean Khan Joy has warned that BCL will give a "fitting reply" if anyone tries to destabilize the country over the killing of BUET student Abrar Fahad. He came up with the note of warning while addressing a press conference at Dhaka University on Wednesday.
All Nahean Joy said, "Police and administration are doing their work. Chhatra League has already expelled those found involved in the incident." BCL acting General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee was also present at the press conference.
Abrar, a second-year student of electrical and electronic engineering department, was beaten to death by BCL hall unit leaders and activists at his residential hall early Monday. Joy claimed that a certain quarter is trying to disgrace Bangladesh in the international arena by manipulating the incident.
He said BCL has taken punitive action against offenders after investigation. "Action will be taken against anyone found guilty," he said.
