Shoeb Chowdhury meets Maltese High Commissioner -The Asian Age

Honorary Consul of Malta to Bangladesh M. Shoeb Chowdhury held a meeting with Mr. Stephen Borg, High Commissioner of Malta to Bangladesh in New Delhi on Wednesday.

They talked about illegal immigration, expanding tourism, trade and commerce and bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Malta. Both M. Shoeb Chowdhury and Mr. Stephen Borg expressed the opinion that Bangladesh and Malta can utilize joint initiatives on maritime education, shipbuilding industry and blue economy.

M. Shoeb Chowdhury said that the alliance between Bangladesh and Malta will become much more strengthened in future. He made reference to the memorandum of understanding recently signed between the two countries.

Higher officials and senior politicians from Malta have visited Bangladesh on different occasions. More dignitaries from Malta have plans to visit Bangladesh in days to come, Mr. Stephen Borg informed.

Dr. Jesmin Chowdhury, wife of M. Shoeb Chowdhury, was present during the meeting.
