People want qualitative change in politics: Rab -The Asian Age

The president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), A.S.M. Abdur Rab, on Friday claimed that the people of the country have experienced all sorts of torture under this government. He also claimed that the people have no freedom of speech now. Murder, forced disappearance and other criminal activities have increased, he added.

The JSD leader came up with the assertion while speaking at a program at Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Friday.Rab said, "People hardly have freedom now. People now want qualitative change in politics. Everyone demands a government for the people. So, unity is needed to get rid of this jeopardy."

He urged the government not to silence the voice of the nation. If people come out and protest then the government will be in a fix, he warned."Unity and movement on roads results the fall of autocracy. We are ready to give our blood to regain democracy," he added.
