On Thursday's occasion, deputy commissioner (DC) Abdul Matin as the chief guest formally handed over the document of land to Rezbin Hafiz, managing director of Peoples Footwear and Leather Goods, Uttara, Dhaka. President of Gaibandha Chamber of Commerce and Industry freedom fighter Maksudar Rahman Shaahan and president of National Association of Small and Cottage Industries of Bangladesh (NASIB), Gaibandha M. Shafiqul Islam Alamgir were present at the event as the special guests, reports BSS.
The DC assured Rezbin Hafiz and her staffers of providing all sorts of administrative support and assistance to establish the factory at the estate without any hassle and run it smoothly. He also thanked Rezbin who received National SME award from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on March 04 for being one of the best entrepreneurs of the country.
