Presidency University observed 48th martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation -The Asian Age
A discussion, distribution of awards and prayer Mahfil was held on the life and work of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on16 August-2023, Wednesday at 3 pm in the conference hall of Presidency University.
To celebrate the 48th martyrdom anniversary of the great architect of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due dignity in the auditorium of the Presidency University, acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Muniruzzaman. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering spoke as a special guest. Abul Lais M.S. Haque, University Adviser Brigadier General (retd) Md Anisur Rahman, Registrar Md Ruhul Amin and chairmen of various departments.
After that they prayed for the souls of all the martyrs of August 15, including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib.
