'I wanted to be a pilot and my father wanted me to be a doctor which I knew I could never be, and then ended up as a photographer in profession. I live in Malaysia. People from this city have this ideology that living in abroad is far better than living in this city. In one sense that's true but ultimately you're all alone, having no family or good friends. You always need help from someone no matter how much talented you are to build a successful career ahead. Besides studying, I work in an event firm in Malaysia. Most of the time I had to cover marriage related events. So far I have completed 16 events and I am glad that they all liked my work; my clients, my boss everyone! Although sometimes it was really hard to explain the clients what I really wanted from them, but I managed through. I was earning well, living the so called dream life, enjoying every minute of it. But at the end of the day when I got home, something always felt missing. Family… especially my mother, she was missing. Just a few days ago she left us forever. Since then I have realized that money sure can buy you everything but it can never bring your dead mother back. Abroad is good but to fill the hole in your heart either you need your family over there or you need to be there where your family resides. If it's for getting a higher education from a higher institute then maybe it's fine. But why settle somewhere else and improve someone else's economy? Rather, we can put our effort where we actually belong, and I believe the country will only develop when we all can work together, and maybe someday it will happen. Then we all are bound to succeed, one day or the day after tomorrow or the day after or the day after. But if the dedication is pure, you definitely will.''
