'Terrorist' held with sharp weapons -The Asian Age
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members held an alleged terrorist along with firearms and bullets from Foila area of Rampal upazila on Tuesday. Tipped off that some youths along with arms were walking in Foila area, a team of Rab-6 launched a drive there at noon and arrested Al-Amin Islam Monir, 31, son of Moslem Uddin Sheikh of Gauramva area of Rampal upazila, along with a one shutter-gun and three bullets, said deputy assistant director of the Rab-6 Badol Kumar Roy. However, the cohorts managed to flee the scene sensing the presence of the law enforcers.
A case was filed against Al-Amin and his unidentified cohorts with Rampal Police Station. Al Amin was also accused in two separate cases filed with Rampal and Narayanganj Police Stations on charges of burglary, snatching and extortion.
However, the family members friends and neighbors demanded further investigations for the incident to find out the real and fair true.
