One arrested with 40 kgs ganja -The Asian Age
Detective branch (DB) of police arrested a drug trader from capital's Mohammadpur area and recovered 40 kilograms ganja from her possession on Sunday.
The arrestee Rufaida was running her illegal business from the first floor flat of the house number 15/A/9 in Mohammadpur Krishi Market area, police said.
"She used to collect drugs from different parts of the country and stockpile those in that flat to sell on wholesale and retail for long. We have learned names of a couple of her cronies including Rani, 55, Oli, 35, Tajo, 30, and Kashem, 45," a DMP release said.
DB said the all her associates are still at large but the police are continuing their drives to arrest them.
A case was filed in this regard with Mohammadpur Police Station.
