Abducted trader rescued in Benapole -The Asian Age

Police rescued a businessman, abducted from the capital a week ago, from beside Benapole-Doulatpur border road in unconscious state on Tuesday morning. The victim, Dulal Hossain, 50, son of Munnafur Hossain of Haimchar upazila of Chandpur, has garments business at Mohamma-dpur in Dhaka.

"In the morning, locals heard the sound of a microbus on the road. Later, they saw a man lying unconscious beside the road. The villagers took care of him and informed the police. Later, police rescued him and took him to hospital," said Abdul Latifm, assistant sub-inspector of Benapole port police.
