BSMRMU gets new VC

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Mar-itime University (BSMRMU) has appointed Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal as its new Vice-Chancellor. Before joining to BSMRMU, he served as the chairman of the Chittagong Port Authority.

He joined Bangladesh Navy in 1981 and commissioned in Executive Branch in 1983. Through a formal program, the outgoing VC Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Baten handed over his duties to the newly appointed VC yesterday. Treasurer, Registrar, Deans, Faculty member, officers and staffs were present at the program.
