A bus has caught fire in Dhaka's Banani, with no immediate report of casualties. The incident occurred at Chairman-barhi crossing around 9:50pm on Saturday, Banani Police Station Inspector Borhan-uddin told media.
He said they heard the fire originated from the gas cylinder of the bus. But, he could not say how many passengers were there in the bus when it caught fire, reports bdnews24.com.
The fire crews were seen dousing the fire around 10:15pm. A Fire Service official at the scene said that they heard no one was injured in the incident.
