DIG Habibur elected as vice-president of IKF

Habibur Rahman, general secretary of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation and DIG of Dhaka Range of Police, has been elected as the vice-president of International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) for the first time. He has been elected as the vice-president of the International Kabaddi Federation during the federation congress held in Dubai, UAE on March 31, 2022. In addition, two joint secretaries of the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, Gazi Mozammel Haque and SM Newaz Sohag also attended the congress. 

Binod Kumar Tiwari, a Kuwaiti of Indian descent and Malaysian Sathasivam Munisamy has been elected as the president and general secretary of the International Kabaddi Federation respectively.Returning home after being elected as the vice-president of IKF, DIG Habibur Rahman said, "It is an honor for our country. We want to work for the betterment of Kabaddi, the national game of Bangladesh in the country. Now we can work on the development of kabaddi at the global level."
