Teenager's body found in Pakundia pond

Rescue workers of Pakundia Fire Station recovered the body of a teenager from a local pond at Mathkhola Taldashi village of Pakundia upazila on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Ajay Deb Paul, 15, son of Nepal Pal of Mathkhola Taldashi village. According to local sources, Ajay had been missing since around 9:00pm last night.  Later in the morning, the locals saw his shoes in the pond and informed the fire service. Rescue workers of Pakundia Fire Station rescued the body with the help of the locals. Confirming the incident, Sarwar Jahan, officer-in-charge of Pakundia police station, said, "After recovering the body, it has been sent to Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital Morgue for autopsy."
