DIG Mozammel Haque completes 24 years in police service

 
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Highway Police under Bangladesh Police Md Mozammel Haque has successfully passed 24 years in police service. He joined the police department on 25 January 1999 as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

Although he joined government service as Veterinary Surgeon (Livestock Cadre) on 30th August 1994. He recalls 4 years and 4 months of veterinary surgeon service all day long. In all, 28 years and 4 months of government service, but 24 years of service in the police service to maintain law and order is an important episode in our country.

Although he was finally nominated for the post of Assistant Superintendent of Police in the 15th BCS (Police) cadre, he could not join due to unavoidable reasons. Even though there was a lot of pain in the beginning, now the successful DIG Mozammel Haque has no repentance for this.
He wholeheartedly believed in Almighty, the most Beneficial and Merciful. Later he joined the police as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in the 18th BCS (Police) cadre in the beginning of 1999.

He once used to calculate how many years the job was during the long journey. Now he calculates how long he has to work ahead. He praised all the batchmates who joined from his batch. Their integrity, dedication, commitment, transparency and accountability inspire the DIG.

He said that the support and unconditional love of my father, mother, wife, in-laws, sons and daughters, relatives, respected senior officers, dear batch mates, colleagues, friends at home and abroad, well-wishers and thousands of service-seeking people at the workplace paved the way for his police career.

During his career, he served as Circle ASP Panchagarh, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Rajshahi Circle, Additional Superintendent of Police Natore, Additional Superintendent of Police Rajshahi, Additional Superintendent of Police Comilla, Additional Superintendent of Police Dhaka District.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of Joypurhat District, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bogura District, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Naogaon District and Deputy Commissioner (DC) of DMP Police as Dhaka Metropolitan Police is trying to fulfill the supreme responsibility of law and order control in the concerned area as per public expectation.

On promotion as Commanding Officer RAB-13 Rangpur Division, and as Commanding Officer RAB-4 Mirpur Dhaka for 4 years and 9 months, these successful police officer has played a role in suppressing and preventing all kinds of heinous crimes including drug and militant activities.

After getting promoted, he is currently serving as DIG in Highway Police. He participated in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Sudan for 13 months.DIG (Highway) Md. Mozammel Haque was born in a noble muslim and happy family in Chatmohar Upazila of Pabna district. He and his wife Sultana Haque have two daughters and a son.
