Journalists protest cancellation of Dainik Dinkal's declaration

 
Journalists staged a human chain in Mymensingh protesting the cancellation of the declaration of Dainik Dinkal.
The human chain was held in front of Mymensingh Press Club in the district on Sunday noon.

Speaking the occasion, journalist leaders said the declaration of daily Dinkal newspaper has been canceled on flimsy pretext.
They believed that through this cancellation, the freedom of expression has been halted.

They demanded an immediate move to repeal the cancellation of the declaration of the newspaper.
Sangbadik Union Mymensingh President M Ayub Ali presided over the demonstration while Joint General Secretary Aman Ullah Akonda, journalist Kamrul Hasan and Abdus Sattar spoke the occasion.

Conducted by Sangbadik Union Mymensingh General Secretary Saiful Islam, a large number local journalist attended the human chain.
To mention, Bangladesh Press Council cancelled the declaration of the newspaper when Tarique Rahman submitted his resignation and appointed a new publisher but the authorities did not accept the changes. Various journalist platforms including Dhaka Union of Journalists and Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists staged demonstration condemning the cancellation of the declaration for Dinkal.
