Sarwar Hossain made Military Secretary to President


Sarwar Hossain has been appointed as Military Secretary to the President Abdul Hamid. Army Headquarters on Monday issued a gazette notification in this regard, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin said.

President Abdul Hamid yesterday adorned Sarwar Hossain with Major General rank badge. He was commissioned in the Bangladesh Army in December, 1986, in the 15th BMA Long Course.

Prior to the new assignment, he was working as the Director, Internal Affairs Bureau, DGFI Headquarters. Before joining in DGFI Headquarters, he was served as the Principal of Military Collegiate School Khulna. Sarwar is pursuing a PhD on Liberation War.
